In Loving Memory of

Jenetha Gayle Partridge

After a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, Jenetha Partridge passed away peacefully, July 31st, 2022, surrounded by her husband and members of her family.

Jenetha is survived by her husband, Donald, seven children, and twenty-one grandchildren.

Jenetha was born Jenetha Gayle Rough in Long Beach, California, January 8, 1951.

She grew up in Montebello, California with her loving parents, Stuart and Harriet Rough and brother John Rough.

In 1969, Jenetha graduated from Wasatch Academy High School and then went on to graduate in 1974 from Good Samaritan Hospital as a Registered Nurse.

Jenetha worked twelve years as a Registered Nurse, twelve years as Director of I.V. Therapy, and twelve years as a Quality Control Specialist over homecare nursing agencies throughout the western half of the United States.

In 1977, Jenetha married Jim Weaver and had two children.

In 1986, Jenetha blended her family with Donald Partridge, bringing into her second marriage her children, and Donald bringing in his.

Together, Jenetha and Donald had two additional children, totaling seven children.

Jenetha and Donald lived in Fremont, California, seven years; Pleasanton, California, twenty-two years; and Folsom, California, seven years, up to Jenetha’s passing.

Above everything else, Jenetha was completely committed to her faith in Jesus Christ, her marriage with her husband Donald, and her time with her beloved children.

Once as a volunteer at her church’s summer camp, Jenetha was instrumental in leading a high school girl to faith in Christ. Fast forward, that same high school girl became her daughter-in-law.

Jenetha attended seemingly endless gymnastic, cheer, diving, football, baseball, and soccer events. One season she was even a linesperson for High School football.

When all three of her sons joined the United States Marine Corps, there could not have been a more-proud Marine Mother. It was a rare day to find Jenetha not wearing something representative of her love for her sons and the Marine Corps, including dog tags representing each boy.

Even during her decline, Jenetha never lost her wit about her, her kindness for others, and her love for her family.

Jenetha leaves behind her husband, Donald Partridge and their seven children and twenty-one grandchildren:

Beth and her husband Joe: Christian and Julianne

Lesley Joy and her husband Michael: Kayla, Araya, Ayva, and Hunter

Matthew and his wife Heather: Brady, Blakely, Brett, and Brielle

Dustin and his wife Mary: Daisy, Luke, Lila, Paul, Kolbe, and James

Devon and her husband Patrick: Reed, Colin, and Jack

Krissa and her husband Nicholas: David and Jonah

Christopher and his wife Kaylee

Jenetha was predeceased by her wonderful parents, Stuart and Harriet Rough, and her grandson, Canaan Nicholas Wallsteadt.

Her Children rise up and call her blessed;

her husband also, and he praises her:

“Many daughters have done well, but you surpass them all.”

Proverbs 31:28,29

We are comforted in knowing that Jenetha is wholly healed in heaven, yet will be dearly missed here on earth.
